有機物と無機物がナノレベルで融合した新機能性有機無機ナノハイブリッド材料を研究しています。特に、機能性有機色素材料と無機薄膜とを融合化させ、新たな光機能を発現させた機能性薄膜の開発を主題としています。ゾルゲル法という溶液中の化学反応を利用する方法に、光照射やマイクロ波照射を加味した、低コスト・高効率かつ低温での薄膜形成プロセスも開発しました。開発技術はプリンタブルエレクトロニクス分野への展開が期待され、注目を集めています。
