組織工学的再生組織をはじめ、医療・福祉機器は、実験室(試験管)内で、どれほど高度な機能を有していたとしても、身体が受け入れてくれなければ何の役にも立ちません。本研究室では、身体の仕組みを理解し、その仕組みを利用することにより、身体に優しい再生医療・福祉工学技術の開発を目指しています。これまで客観的評価が難しかった健康度や老化度などを、先端技術を用いた生体工学的手法により定量的な指標として提供します。
