ヒトは、機械に真似できない、巧妙な運動制御を実現できています。それは、複雑な神経系からなる運動制御機構を有しているためです。近年の医療機器の進歩によって、そのような神経メカニズムが解明されようとしており、その知見をもとにした新しいリハビリテーションへの展開も進んでいます。本研究室では、ヒトの神経や筋の制御系を解明し、ニューロリハビリテーションの観点から高齢者・障害者のための支援機器、訓練機器の開発・評価に役立てています。
