Laboratory Overview | Wireless Communications Network for Safe and Secure Life
We make research and develop about fundamental technologies of flexible wireless communication network configuration aiming to be useful for security and safety. Based on the R&D of elemental technologies necessary for constructing an autonomous distributed wireless network that supports human-to-human communication and inter-robot communication when a disaster occurs, we will also conduct research from the viewpoint of what kind of information is really necessary, and what technology is necessary to convey it at a time of disaster. |

Laboratory Character | Lab members can work together with colleagues in research friendly and seriously. When someone is in trouble, they can consult with professor, graduate students and colleagues in a casual way. Why don’t you study wireless communication for safe and secure life that can contribute to society in such a wonderful environment?

For Social Contributions to the World Sustainability | When a large-scale disaster occurs, the existing cellular phone network cannot be used because of the physical corruption of base stations and/or congestion by enormous call requests. Even in such cases, cellular phones can make network automatically by using ad hoc network technologies, and it is useful for safe and secure.
