Laboratory Overview
Investigation of new phenamena in quantum spin magnets associated with fluctuations at low temperature in high field
Low temperature physics is a field to investigate electric, magnetic properties inside materials under the condition of no-thermal noise at lower temperature below 4 K. In this laboratory, we investigate magnetic properties in quantum spin magnets, which has large magnetic fluctuations, under the condition of low temperature and of high magnetic fields.
Laboratory Character You will be able to learn solid state physics and techniqes of measurements at low temperature in high magnetic field.

For Social Contributions to the World Sustainability The solid state physics is a field in the basic science, however, there is no border between the solid state physics and the material science/engineering. For example, the superconductivity was applied to the superconducting magnet after 50 years from the discovery. wish results in the basical physics will be applied to somethig of engineering in the future.
