Laboratory Overview Solve the equation without "solving" it
Differential equations are equations related to unknown functions and their derivatives, and can describe all phenomena of natural science and social science. Sometimes solutions of differential equations do not exist and sometimes they can not be expressed by wellknown functions, although they exist. In other words, differential equations have the potential to produce new functions. Well, how do you study the existence and nature of this new function without solving the equation? In this laboratory, we are addressing such problems with mathematical theory.

Laboratory Character Solutions of differential equations can both "explode" and "extinct", so you can enjoy thought experiments (without danger). Even "invisible" and "untouchable" can be handled freely on the equation. However, it is difficult to analyze Prof. Takeuchi's nonlinearity haha.

For Social Contributions to the World Sustainability Mathematics is the extraction of common ideas that appear in science in our lives and background. If "putting a job in hand" is engineering, "coloring the brain" is the science, and among them graduates of the department of mathematical sciences are expected to play a wide range of activities.
