Laboratory Overview
Finding Man-Machine interface
What is usability? We think usability is the integration of human body, cognition, cultural background and mature to the object. Usability and Man-machine interface are the integrated product of ergonomics and human factors. Our laboratory is based on ergonomics and Human-Central design method.
Laboratory Character What do you imagine from the word "wheelchair"? Every hospital has wheelchair at entrance for sick and weak people. However, most of them can not drive wheelchair by themselves. Even they can not drive, wheelchair has large wheels with wheel-handle. This large wheel disturb from closer reach to beds, automobile seats, toilet seats. We finding completely new shape transfer equipment with Human-Centered Design method.
