Laboratory Overview | Designing interrelation between changing cities and societies
This laboratory tackles urban and regional problems within the phase of aging society. Researches held are on urban design which connect urban spaces and regional societies that are undergoing transition. Some examples of these research are methods of urban renewal needed in this aging society, ways to revitalize unused public space, and discovery of new social actors. Students are to value fieldwork, and implement practical research through communication between inhabitants, city officers, and specialists. |
