Laboratory Overview
User-friendly Information and Communication Environment
User-friendly information and communication technologies are studied towards Ubiquitous Computing Environment where information can be accessed anywhere and anytime without being aware of computers’ existence. These technologies will finally establish intelligent information and communication systems with a high user-satisfaction level, which release the users from complex computer operations and correctly executes the users’ requests when they are needed. One of the typical applications is context-aware system. The context-aware system obtains user’s biological information and his/her environmental information, and predicts information and services that the user wants, and provides him/her with them.
